The Tuscan countryside around this historic villa is gorgeous, and the recent renovations make it comfortable and easy to stay in. We enjoyed the wine from the surrounding vineyards and olive oil from the trees, served with the gourmet dinners. Frederica and John are such warm, hospitable hosts and do everything they can to make your stay go smoothly.

We spent a week here with my partner and our nine-month-old as part of an Art Retreat. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, and showed us how the wine is made before a really tasty tasting. Our apartment was small and cozy, with what we needed for a good stay. The kitchen could use a few more things, though we didn’t need to cook since meals were provided by the retreat. It’s a lovely, peaceful place outside Florence, and I’d definitely recommend it for a relaxing break.

The hosts were the best part of our stay at Antico Borgo La Torre. They were always checking that everyone was comfortable and made us feel very welcome. The pool is also great, with a gradual depth that works well for children of different ages. We really enjoyed our time there during our Tuscany trip and would happily come back. I can definitely recommend it.

We stayed with a group of friends at the beginning of July ’21 and loved the quiet, with plenty of nearby places to explore. Arezzo, Florence, and Siena made for great art and architecture outings, and I even found good MTB tracks. Antico Borgo la Torre has several well-equipped houses, a vineyard, and a private swimming pool. The owners were incredibly hospitable. It was an amazing stay, with nothing to complain about.
