The courtyard garden, with citrus trees, shade, and quiet, felt like a sanctuary right in the city. Hotel Forum made it easy to relax between visits to Pompeii, despite the crowds and the usual worry about noisy, overpriced, underwhelming hotels in the center. Parking nearby was effortless and deserves high praise. The rooms had impressively high ceilings, and both the cuisine and breakfasts were excellent. The restaurant deserves a mention, as does Palmierino, our waiter, who seemed to anticipate what we wanted before we'd even put it into words. The location is ideal for the excavations, and the buses to Vesuvius, which rises over the whole region, are right next door. In Pompeii, you really can get a restful break from Pompeii.

Eating in the garden under the lemon trees was an extra treat, and the restaurant food was superb. The hotel is very convenient, and the service was exceptional.

The hotel sits next to Pompeii, with a view of vesuvius, and it's a short walk to the town square and its bars and restaurants. Staff were amazing and attentive. The room was a little dated, but the food was fantastic. Breakfast offered lots of choice and great coffee, and dinner could be served outside in the pretty garden with lights and pergolas. The food was delicious. I'd recommend it for a visit to Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Vesuvius.

The location is great, right across from the Pompei ruins, and the European breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean but outdated, with only a high bathtub. Parking was a block away and cost extra.

The location couldn't be better, right by the entrance to the Pompeii ruins and on the city's main promenade. The front desk receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful, giving us good guidance and making sure we had what we needed. The hotel staff also made our 20th wedding anniversary special with a surprise cake, bottled water in the room, and a handwritten card. Our room was modern, fully equipped, and spotless. It felt like a first-class stay and was exceptional value for the price. Highly recommended!
