Bdb Rooms Margutta

We arrived to find our unit on the fourth floor with no elevator. There’s no AC in the bedrooms, and being right at the top makes the apartment feel like an oven. I asked to move to another room, but got nowhere. We have small children, and I can’t put them to bed in that heat. Please think carefully and find out more about this apartment service before booking. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The service and location were both great, and the place had everything we needed. A great base for a trip to Rome!

We got no help or compensation from the hotel after a camera lens was stolen from our camera case in the luggage room by reception. The receptionist had told us to leave our bags there. The manager was only reachable on WhatsApp and said they’d help and report it to their insurance company, but that never happened. The luggage room was accessible only to staff and guests, and staff admitted the security cameras weren’t working. The Booking listing described the rooms as luxurious and offered them at a big discount. In person, they were small, worn out, and ordinary, with outdated bathrooms. Other guests we spoke with were just as disappointed. We were also told the management had changed recently, which seems to have affected the place for the worse. The place came across as dishonest, irresponsible, and manipulative. Strongly not recommended.

The photos say more than words, and the place was ugly, extremely dirty, old, and terrible. The conditions were so disgusting that I wouldn’t pay to sleep there again, even if I wanted a free night elsewhere. We stayed because my flight came in at midnight and I was with a child. P.S. We NEVER had a phone conversation! I tried to explain the situation beforehand, but it didn’t help with the actual condition of the property. The LIARS never succeed with anything. This isn’t the first time I’ve left you a BAD REVIEW!
