La Paggeria

My husband was surprisingly good in the outdoor kitchen, and my daughter, who loves cooking and baking, was in heaven. We booked the day as an experience for her, and although we first thought it was a little pricey, it ended up being our best day of the Florence holiday and well worth it. At La Paggeria in late April, Antonella and Paolo welcomed me, my husband, and our adult daughter into their home like old friends. With Antonella and Manuela guiding us, we made zucchini and ricotta soufflé, fresh pasta with a simple tomato sauce, stuffed peppers, and cantuccini for dessert. There was plenty of lovely wine and sparkling drinks, and the meal was so good we couldn't eat dinner later. We chose the vegetarian menu, but they can tailor meals to suit your tastes. The farmhouse villa and the views over the Tuscan countryside and Florence are wonderful. We'd stay there if we visited Florence again, and highly recommend it.

The peaceful Tuscan countryside made a lovely setting for our five nights at La Paggeria Bed & Breakfast. We were two couples, and Paolo and Antonella were great hosts who arranged several outings for us. The Castle & Wine tour was excellent, and we also had a cooking class with Antonella and Chef Edwardo, then sat down to a delicious meal with wine. Antonella served us several outstanding meals during our stay. We highly recommend La Paggeria Bed & Breakfast. It's a lovely place, just a short bus ride from Florene.

The Tuscan hills are a beautiful setting, only 15 minutes from central Florence. Antonella and Paolo are thoughtful hosts, and their two lovely dogs make the stay even nicer. Be sure to have dinner made by Antonella, all the meals are delicious. Thanks for a great experience!

Just outside Florence, this is a great B&B for the price, and both the property and rooms are lovely. Antonella and Paulo were fantastic hosts. They can pick you up at the Florence train station, arrange cooking classes, and take you on excursions to local wineries. I'd definitely come back.
