La Tana dell'Orso B & B

The owner is kind, but having rooms and serving breakfast alone doesn’t make a B&B. The common area was messy, and the rooms, though very basic, could have been cleaner. Breakfast was all packaged supermarket food. Fresh bread would be an easy improvement; the croissants presented as fresh one morning were actually defrosted supermarket ones. The bathroom had only a bottle of shower gel, with no shampoo or soap, which is inconvenient for a longer stay. The lady also runs another business and may need help managing the property. We won’t return. It seems worth paying a little more and staying somewhere else.

The room was clean and tidy, and the price was very fair. I spent a couple of days here with just my dogs for a short break. The owner is a very kind woman. I know where I’ll book next time I’m back in the area. Recommended.

After a long day of work, Donatella had even left us a delicious homemade cake. She was a wonderful, kind host, always available, and gave us lots of ideas for walks. Everything was perfectly clean and there were plenty of other comforts. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return to this beautiful place soon. I highly recommend it.

The owners were so helpful after I broke my foot while walking and had to return to Turin. We had a lovely stay, though it ended too soon. The place was quiet, our room spotless and well furnished, and the bathroom was spacious and lovely. Breakfast was generous, with excellent homemade apple pie.
