B&B Alfrantoio Valderice

The room was nice, and the service was great. The place is close to everything.

Jolanda's warm welcome was such a lovely surprise. We spent five spectacular days in May, with clean rooms and wonderful breakfasts out on the terrace.

The homemade breakfast was a highlight, with authentic local foods that felt like a little tour of the area's flavors. The mother and daughter who run B&B Al Frantoio also shared great tips for nearby sights, and gave us a small bottle of their own olive oil when we left. We really appreciated that thoughtful keepsake. From the moment we arrived in Valderice, they made us feel welcome and cared for. They clearly take care with every detail. A wonderful stay in a warm, family atmosphere, and one I'd recommend to anyone looking for that kind of experience.

The people are what make this B&B special. Iolanda and Laura were always smiling, kind, and ready with suggestions for places to visit, eat, and ways to get around. When our car broke down on the second day, they immediately called mechanics, helped us weigh our options, and showed real concern. We never felt left on our own, even though the situation was stressful and could have spoiled our stay. The setting is peaceful among olive groves, with views stretching from the sea to Mount Cofano and the medieval village of Erice. It's away from the bustle, yet Trapani, San Vito Lo Capo, the Marsala salt pans, the tuna fisheries, Favignana, and other spots around Trapani are only a short drive away. My room was bright, spacious, simply and tastefully furnished, and spotless. Breakfast changes each morning, with pane cunzato (bread) and their own extra virgin olive oil, fresh pastries, homemade jams, seasonal fruit, and more, served on the terrace with a breathtaking view. I had a wonderful stay at B&B Al Frantoio and highly recommend it.
