Casale Belvedere

We spent two nights here with our own car while visiting friends, and we'd definitely stay again. We felt treated with great respect and were allowed to use the place as if it were our own. Special thanks to Rossana and the rest of the staff for making us feel so welcome. Our room was clean and had AC. The bed was made and towels replaced daily while we were out visiting Erice. The mattresses weren't anything special, but were fine for two nights. The shower had plenty of hot water and felt clean, and soap, shampoo and a handy hairdryer were provided. The B&B is next to a quiet olive oil factory and has a ramp for parking. We asked whether our friends could join us for dinner on the rooftop, which has lovely views, and Fabrizio happily agreed. We brought pizza from a nearby pizzeria and wine from a shop in Trapani. Fabrizio then brought clean plates, cutlery and an ice bucket for the wine. After reading other reviews, I wondered if we'd been to the same B&B. Our family's stay was fantastic.

This was the worst place I've had to stay. The WiFi kept failing, the staff were rude and ignorant, and that includes Fabrizio, the B&B's owner. Breakfast was meager, just old, hard pies and cakes. Fabrizio kept trying to take extra money for one thing or another. There was a horrible sewage and garbage smell everywhere. The rooms weren't cleaned at all, and the bedding was changed every two weeks. Towels were the same story. They only changed the sheets after I asked. I strongly don't recommend staying here. The worst place in this city!

The view and terrace were breathtaking, and the rooms were great. Fabrizio was the best, with lots of good recommendations for places to go. The only downside was the air conditioning: there's just one unit split between two rooms, so the room without it felt noticeably hot and humid when there were more than two of us. I hope to come back.

We stayed at the farmhouse for just one night. From our room, the view of Monte Cofano was great, but the lighting was poor, there were cobwebs and dust everywhere, and the shower had limescale. When we got back from dinner, the electricity was out on our floor. I messaged the owner on WhatsApp to sort it out, but never heard back, even the next day. My husband ended up looking for the meters so he could restore the power.
