Villa Pilati Bed and Breakfast

A nice place to stay, though the rooms are a bit small.

Villa Pilati feels like more than somewhere to sleep. You're part of a home, a place, a village, maybe even a whole region, and once you're there, it's hard to leave. The location is enchanting, the welcome thoughtful, the rooms beautiful and functional, the breakfasts delicious, and the services and kindness are all lovely. That feeling comes from the magical place, and especially from a hostess who makes herself part of the experience and shares a Sicily full of beauty and surprises. If you haven't been, go. If you have, come back.

We got to spend a weekend at Villa Pilati and had a lovely time. The staff were extraordinary, especially the owner, signora Picci, who was so kind and welcoming and made us feel truly at home in this spectacular villa surrounded by greenery. She's also fitting it out with a swimming pool, which will be a real highlight and make the place unforgettable. The villa has delicious homemade breakfasts and is in a great spot for reaching Erice vetta, San vito lo capo, and other breathtaking places in the province. I recommend it and will be back soon.

The garden was a lovely place to wander in the morning or sit under the trees, and breakfast made a great start to the day with plenty of fresh local ingredients. We found the rooms spotless, with tasteful furnishings that fit the traditional Sicilian style. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, just right for relaxing and enjoying Sicily. Mrs. Picci welcomed us so warmly and professionally, and was always ready to help with a smile. Her care made us feel at home and made the stay memorable. We'd happily return to Villa Pilati.
