Villetta Mare Valderice

It’s a comfortable, clean, functional place to stay, and the owner was always ready with suggestions to help us make the most of our time. The setting is wonderful, with lush greenery, flowers, a lovely view of Erice and the sea in the distance. The climate is a real treat, breezy all the time and cooler and drier than by the beach. A short drive gets you to spacious public beaches with good services, or to the picturesque coast at Macari or San Vito lo Capo. From there, you can explore the Zingaro Nature Reserve by sea or on land.

We loved having a garden, with a terrace for meals outside, space to dry clothes, and even a handy shower to rinse off without going indoors. The garden-level apartment was beautiful, with a big living room, a large cool double bedroom, and a twin room. We were a couple and had a fabulous stay. The house was spacious, very clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed. Even in the hottest months, the evenings stayed wonderfully cool. Set among greenery at about 250 meters above sea level, it was easy to reach several beaches and popular tourist spots. I’d happily stay again and again.

We spent a few days here with my family and would gladly come back. The villa was spacious and clean, with a lovely view, and the setting was quiet and peaceful. Its location made it easy to get around. The owner was very kind and helpful, and though he isn't from the area, he was always available with information and suggestions. The price was in line with other properties nearby.

We felt more like guests than tourists, thanks to Maurizio, the owner, who was incredibly kind and full of good tips for things to do around the province. He made our stay special. We’ll be back and would recommend the villa to anyone visiting the area. Special greetings to Orietta. It sits in a spectacular spot overlooking the gulf, and was extremely clean and well maintained. The location also worked well for reaching the Trapani salt pans, Erice, San Vito Lo Capo, and Cornino Bay.
