The villas are spacious, newly built and in a decent location on the outskirts of Trapani, with restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Piero, who handles maintenance, was kind and helpful. That said, the apartments lack basic equipment: there were very few glasses and lots of kitchen tools were missing, plus no basics like salt or sugar. The electricity limit was a major problem across all the units. The meter trips at around 3 kW, so you can barely run two of the villa's four AC units at once. To use a hair dryer, we had to cut it down to just one AC. I was surprised earlier reviewers hadn't mentioned this, since it's a known issue and guests get a key to the meter on arrival. One bedroom had a broken AC, and I wasn't offered any refund. We had to sleep four people in one bedroom. The owner advertises a jacuzzi online, but don't be fooled. It's his toy, and he uses it himself with a friend. At the start of the holiday, he'd come up with excuses to stop us using it, like saying he was regulating the water's pH. Piero kindly let my kids have a ride. Later the owner reprimanded me because they had sand on their feet. He'd also been smoking inside the villa while showing it to us and dropping ash on the floor. He was very arrogant. I'm torn about the place, but the owner's attitude leaves me advising people to avoid it.
