The view was magnificent, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent, though some local specialties had run out. The location worked well, for example, Bormio spa is 12 km away. Rooms were quiet and spotlessly clean, including the bathroom, which was otherwise just so-so. The standard double mattress was uncomfortable compared with two single beds pushed together. The default room temperature also wasn't comfortable, and we had to call to get it turned up.

We had dinner at the restaurant and it was definitely worth trying. We stayed for one night, and the rooms were lovely for a three-star hotel. The welcome was pleasant and efficient, and the price was very reasonable.

The parking costs €5 per night, but it's a muddy lot and not much use. Not great...

Peaceful and quiet, and right by Stelvio Pass. The view is exceptional, and the restaurant is good value, especially the pizzas. Huge thanks to Melany, a real gem who was always attentive and seemed to anticipate what we needed. I highly recommend it!
