Residence Pian del Vino

Cyclists will find plenty here: it's a great base for climbing Passo Dello Stelvio, and also for riders who, like me, don't have the legs for Stelvio. We had no trouble with our bikes. The Host let us keep them in the room, and when we asked to use the ski storage, we got the keys. Parking was easy too. The shop is a two-minute walk away and sells everything from fresh bread to soap, with lots of restaurants nearby. Our apartment was very spacious and clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the view was beautiful. The Host was lovely and helpful. It's a well located place, and I hope we can return next year. I highly recommend it!

The apartments are large and fairly clean, but they need updating. Ours had no oven or microwave, which made cooking difficult.

I've managed to spend a few weekends or short stays here almost every year for about 10 years. August has never worked out because it's always full, though staying then is still a big wish of mine. The location is really convenient for getting to places further away as well as Isolaccia and Bormio. The apartments are always very clean, bright, and well looked after, and I find them welcoming. The owner of the Residence deserves a very positive mention: she's lovely, always kind, available, and cheerful. I've always had a great time and feel at home here. I'd even like to buy an apartment in the residence :D
