The views were beautiful, the rooms were cleaned every day, and the spa and pool were great. Breakfast was included too. Our hosts were welcoming and spoke enough English to tell us about local activities, restaurants, and anything else we needed, though not much more. We had a really good two-night stay and wished we could have stayed longer. I’d recommend it for the nature trails and lovely hosts.

Great pools, great food, and lots for kids to enjoy. It’s an amazing place for a family holiday, especially if you’re into cycling, mountain biking, or hiking.

We walked past areas with broken equipment while trying to find reception, and the mosquitoes were already swarming around our car when we arrived at Cascina Il Faggio. Since our infant has an allergy, we asked to see the room first. It was bare and uninviting, more hostel than simple hotel, and it had mosquitoes in it too. We left to look for somewhere else to stay. When we called to explain, they were rude and refused to refund any part of our two-night booking. I’d avoid this place.

The owners are a big part of what makes this resort so enjoyable. You can ask them for something, order a drink, or just chat about your day, and they cook a wide range of lovely meals throughout the week. During my 18 nights, I rarely had the same dish twice. The rooms were very clean and got cleaned now and then while I was heading out to explore. It’s a fantastic base for places like Biella and Oropa, with views across the valley from the foot of a mountain. A solid 5/5, and a pleasure to stay here.

The views 😍. Breakfast is love, and so is dinner. The hosts are lovely, open people. You can relax here, though don’t expect anyone to fuss over you. If you’re a city person, this probably isn’t the place for you. Wonderful, honestly unreal. Highly recommend ❤️
