Residence Rose

We stayed in two first-floor apartments, one for four people and one for six. The location right on the main road made getting around easy, and there was plenty of parking. The staff were helpful and professional, and there’s a proper drying room for ski gear. Inside, everything felt almost brand new and was spotless. The white apartments are roomy and practical, with balconies, ceiling-high three-door wardrobes, parquet floors, and underfloor heating. The mattresses were comfortable, and hot water was available any time. It got so warm that we slept with the windows open. The polished granite stairs and landings, with their wrought-metal railings, were a nice touch. Views vary depending on which side your apartment faces, but most look out toward the mountains. I’d recommend staying here.

The top-floor apartment had a fantastic panoramic view, and the staff were warm and helpful. The apartments are new and spacious, and everything else was perfect for us. The sofa bed in the living room and kitchen was really uncomfortable, though, and there’s no elevator.

That morning coffee overlooking snowy peaks above the fir trees is priceless. We’ve stayed here two years in a row, and it’s easy to see why: the apartment is modern and comfortable, and the central location makes it quick to get to Livigno, Tirano, the famous red train to Saint Moritz, Stelvio Pass, Gavia Pass, and the Cancano Lakes. Stay here and you may leave with a piece of your heart behind.

There’s lots of room and the apartments are fully equipped. The surrounding area may be industrial, but the villa’s atmosphere makes up for that. Lovely place, I recommend it.
