Casa Valdo Country House

We ended our holiday here after the Dolomites, and it was a wonderful place to finish. It’s also a great base for exploring other areas, and we very much hope to come back. Lucia made us delicious tiramisu for our last breakfast. She also prepared eggs and coffee each morning, and with us as the only guests for two of the days, it felt almost like having our own chef. There was always a full spread of breakfast choices ready for us. Edoardo gave us a complimentary tour of the winery, which was fascinating and informative. The prosecco was delicious, too. He was friendly and very helpful, and everyone on staff gave us such thoughtful service. We stayed three nights in this one-of-a-kind place. The property and grounds were gorgeous and well cared for, with beautiful views and a peaceful setting. The interior is immaculate, with quirky, tasteful design. We were welcomed warmly, enjoyed amazing breakfasts, and appreciated the well-stocked free minibar and full-size bottle of prosecco. We had a superb, joyful stay. Many thanks to everyone for making it so memorable.

The breakfast here was the best we had during our 14 nights traveling around Italy, and the bedroom was perfect. Casa Valdo is beautifully put together, with impeccable upkeep and lovely attention to detail. We enjoyed walking through the vineyards to trattoria la cima, and there are also little paths nearby that make for lovely photos. The Valdo prosecco was delicious. Two small bottles were included in the fridge, and we later bought a DOCG and loved that too. We only wish we'd stayed a couple more days.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of fresh fruit and local products each morning. The whole house is tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean, and it's set among the vineyards, still an easy walk to the town center. There are several good restaurants nearby. We spent five lovely days at Casa Valdo Country House. Edoardo was friendly and service-minded even before we arrived, and he was available throughout our stay. He also arranged restaurant visits and a wine tasting. Highly recommended.

The breakfast buffet was one of the best parts, with fresh berries and fruit, different mueslis and breads, and especially good coffee and cappuccino. From the house, you can head straight out for lovely walks among the vineyards, to little villages, and to wineries. Casa Valdo Countryhouse sits peacefully in the Prosecco hills, and the rooms are stylish with lots of care in the details. Eduardo and his team had everything so well organized. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived and really didn't want to leave. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!
