It’s a calm, friendly place to pause on a journey, especially if you want some quiet away from the bustle. The staff are helpful and kind, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Just bear in mind that the hotel is fairly isolated if you’re planning to get around or go sightseeing often.

We had a lovely week here in Aug 25. Christina was a warm, hospitable hostess, and my daughter made great use of the facilities: a sauna, an infrared cabin, and two pools in the compact gardens, one for endless swimming and one hot tub. The big pool has a lovely sunset view over the hedge. The beds were too firm for us, though the rooms were tidy and clean. The kitchen had basic supplies, but we only used the cutlery and crockery. There was a welcome tea and coffee pack. The bikes were great, although one had wobbly handlebars. A basic service kit was available, but we couldn't fix it because someone had threaded the Allen nut. Ebikes are available for €25/day. The cute hares could use a bigger run and more of a feature. A supermarket and pizzeria, both great, are within a 5 minute ride, at the same spot as the E6 cycle path. We enjoyed riding down to Borghetto for the wonderful setting and food. You really need a car to make the most of the whole south side of lake garda. Sirmione is beautiful but full of tourists, and Lazise is also very busy. Pedenghe and Desenzano are quieter but bustling, as is Pesciera. Verona is less than an hour away too.

The garden and jacuzzis were nice, and the family who own the place were pleasant. It’s quiet despite being close to the road, and it’s near Garda lake attractions. The nicest scenery, though, is an hour-1h30 drive away. For a couple of nights, it was okay. We got unlucky with a dark, very humid ground-floor room, which made for a bad night's sleep. The cutlery was filthy, some kitchen things were broken, and the electric kettle made the water taste awful. The room could have been cleaner overall, and to me the price felt a little high.

The biggest plus was the free facilities, an outdoor small pool, jacuzzi tub, and a sauna inside the building, all easy to use. We had a clean apartment for 4 persons with new furniture, AC, and fairly comfortable beds. The farm estate was peaceful, well maintained, and easy to find. Even though we arrived long after check-in time, the owner welcomed us and showed us around.
