Il Borghetto Vacanze nei Mulini

Chiara and Carmen were wonderful hosts, and the hotel was spotless. I can’t really put into words how magical the place felt. We found it easy to get around and eat out even when the town was as crowded as Walt Disney World during the day. Early and late in the day, it felt like we had the town to ourselves. It also made a great base for exploring. I’d suggest staying at least three nights. Tortellini was created here, so make sure you try some of the many varieties!

The reception team was really helpful with all the questions and requests that came up while traveling as a big group. The apartments were lovely, clean, well cared for, and had everything we needed, with spectacular views right in the middle of town. We had a wonderful time at Il Borghetto Vacanze nei Mulini with our three young children, aged 6, 4, and 1. My parents and my sister’s family were staying there at the same time, too. I hope we can come back someday.

You can sit on a bench by the river and listen to the water, with several bars and restaurants along the bank. There’s free parking as well as paid parking. This is an amazing medieval village, full of history, built beside the Mincio River and part of the club of "The most beautiful villages in Italy." The view from the Visconteo bridge is breathtaking. Highly recommended!

There’s a lovely view over the canal, and some good places to eat within 50 ft. The room is well furnished for a longer stay, with a small stovetop, pots, and utensils. At the nearby canal restaurant, try sitting on the lower terrace, where you can feed the ducks, geese, and swan. Highly recommend it.
