Breakfast was a real highlight, with the choice and quality you might expect at a five-star hotel. The gardens were gorgeous and beautifully kept, and the saltwater pool was sparkling clean. There’s also a private jetty for swimming and mooring. Hotel Campagnola sits right by the lake, and Bardolino’s restaurants and port are just a short walk away. The bus stop outside made it easy to go further afield. Everyone we met, from the cleaning and grounds teams to catering, was friendly and helpful. Giorgia at reception gave us a lovely welcome, then was especially accommodating when a family emergency meant we had to check out early. It was our first time at Lake Garda, and we’d definitely stay here again when we return.
