B&B Ca Pelitti

There’s free parking just a few meters from the accommodation, which is a plus for a place in Italy. But I wouldn’t recommend staying here based on the description: it doesn’t match the reality very well. We booked through BOOKING, where it was described as exceptional and very good value, and that helped explain the low price. The old house is still in its original state and has a distinctive feel, but it isn’t a quiet place. The parquet creaks with every step. Our "Ida" room was opposite the bathroom for "Eva," a room for four. Over our three-night stay, two different families were in there, and when guests don’t follow the shared-living rules, it can feel like a youth hostel and quickly get on your nerves. The bathroom in "Ida" was very basic. Breakfast was basic too, and compared with other reviews I’d read, almost poor. The person who greeted us was barely pleasant and quite austere, and didn’t make us want to come back.

Such a friendly welcome, a great room, and a cool atmosphere! Just please don’t drive the sports cars 😅

The house has a beautiful feel, and its interiors make it seem like you’ve stepped back in time. The staff are very welcoming. I liked learning that it hosts art exhibitions, since Pelitti was a sculptor. It feels like that tradition is still going.

We spent one night at this lovely B&B and had a fantastic weekend. The antique style is very well kept, and everything was clean. Breakfast was excellent, and the hosts were super friendly. You can walk from the B&B to the village and to several nature trails. We’ll definitely be back.
