Gisserhof

The location worked really well for skiing. We went to both Speikboden and Klausberg, and the hotel sits between the two areas. If you’d rather not drive, there’s a ski bus stop very close by in both directions. We spent a week here with our three children, aged 3, 6, and 9, between Christmas and New Year's, and felt completely at ease. Our room had plenty of space for all of us and a balcony with a beautiful mountain view. The half-board food was especially good: varied, delicious, and lovingly prepared. Service was always friendly, attentive, and helpful. We also enjoyed relaxing in the inviting spa area each day. The children had a lot of fun there, and the adults can use the sauna. We’d love to return!

The staff were friendly and the food was decent, and parking was good. But the hotel feels dated, with small rooms and old furnishings. The bathroom was almost cramped, with minimal, outdated fittings, and there was no shower gel or soap. The location wasn't especially convenient either. I wouldn't stay again: the quality and price didn't match. Maybe the 3-star rating comes from the pool and wellness area, which I didn't see.

A place with a lovely atmosphere in the Italian Dolomites. The staff were friendly, and checking in late in the afternoon was no problem. Breakfast was tasty, and the restaurant food was great. The spa was great too. It’s a 30-minute drive to Kronplatz ski. The hotel is well worth recommending. Best wishes.

The food was delicious, and the spa was lovely. The owner and waitress were both kind and attentive, and the price felt very fair. We only had two nights here, but the trip was worth it. We’ll be back.
