Pension Brugghof

We had a wonderful time here in summer. The family were kind, welcoming, and professional throughout, even while dealing with a serious family problem. The rooms had been renovated and were comfortable and well kept. I only wish the balconies had partitions. We misunderstood how dinner worked and thought it started at a fixed time for everyone, so we often arrived late. We felt silly, and if we’d known, we wouldn’t have been late. The dinners were varied and plentiful, with lots of delicious traditional dishes. Breakfast was delicious too, with plenty of sweet and savory options. Better than a hotel!

Our large ski group always enjoys staying at this family-run guesthouse, which has big family rooms and very friendly service. It’s roughly midway between the Klausberg and Speikboden ski areas, and the bus stop is only a few steps away. The food is generous, good to very good, and the accommodation offers excellent value for money. There’s also a newly renovated lounge in the basement with a large flat-screen TV.

The location was excellent, and the family made us feel at home during our four-night stay. The rooms were clean and basic, though it’s a shame there’s no bidet. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and dinner was very good each night, with a different menu each time. We only missed having a lounge where we could relax after dinner instead of wandering around or heading back to our room. Thanks to the family for their kindness and a wonderful stay.

We spent eight days here and had a great time. The property is well placed for different excursions, and the free bus stop is very close. Our room was spotless, and both breakfast and dinner were generous, with dinner also being high quality. There’s no bidet in the room, which is a shame, but the shower worked perfectly.
