Preindlerhof Farmhouse

That balcony sauna and its lovely valley view were a real highlight. We stayed for a week at the end of January in the Mountain 2 apartment with Helene and Werner, and had a wonderfully relaxing time. The apartment combines the old beams from the original barn with a thoughtful renovation and modern amenities, a style you see often in the Gsies Valley. Downstairs there’s a small stable with pygmy goats, pygmy sheep, and chickens, plus a large, nicely furnished kitchen and shared room next door. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Our daughter was delighted to look for her breakfast egg, and naming the chickens was such a lovely idea. The animal stalls and garden are welcoming and beautifully laid out, just like the rest of this thoughtfully designed farm. There’s care in every detail, and everything feels high quality. The breakfast selection was superb, and the common room was perfect. The host family were warm and helpful, and we felt completely at home. We were really happy here and highly recommend the farm.

We stayed for nearly a week and especially enjoyed the balcony, with its mountain views and afternoon sun. The apartment is tastefully decorated and has everything we needed. The host family are very friendly and can provide homemade goods and breakfast ingredients if you need them. There are plenty of hikes in the area, and the South Tyrolean food was always perfect.

Preindlerhof turned out to be just the quiet, pleasant place we hoped to find for a few nights in the Dolomites. The owner made us feel at home right away, and our room was lovely. We also enjoyed the sauna and the fantastic view, and it’s very dog-friendly. We had to move on, though we would have loved to stay longer. Thank you! 🙏🏼
