Hotel Tartaruga Bianca

What made our stay at La Tartaruga Bianca so memorable was how warmly the owners treated us. From check-in, they welcomed us with genuine kindness that feels rare these days. They told us about activities around La Ciaccia, suggested places only locals know, and answered all our questions. Our room was spacious, clean and full of natural light. The balcony was a highlight, with a view over the whole bay and Corsica, perfect for a glass of wine in the afternoon. The hotel's name caught our interest because we love turtles, so at checkout the owner told us the story of the albino turtle found in la ciaccia. Just as we were about to drive off, the owner ran over to give us a T-shirt with their white turtle logo. That was such a lovely gesture. We felt more like old friends than guests. This was the most memorable part of our 11-day holiday in Sardegna, and we'd be very happy to come back someday.

A small, cozy hotel with nice apartments.

The hosts made us feel welcome and were professional, warm, and fluent in German. They clearly care about their work and their guests. The property was very clean and well kept, the parking was excellent, and the rooms were nicely furnished. Air conditioning kept things comfortable, a big plus in warm weather. Soundproofing in the rooms could be a little better, but it didn't spoil the stay. It was very pleasant, the value for money was outstanding, and I'll definitely return.

The rooftop terrace became our favorite place, with a sensational view across the sea, coast and countryside. Even in October there was plenty of sunshine up there, and on a clear day you can see Corsica. Evenings and nights were wonderfully quiet. Our apartment was a little secluded, spacious and well maintained, with two separate bedrooms that worked perfectly for three adults. Wolfgang and his wife Alessandra were lovely, dedicated and incredibly professional hosts.
