We stayed in apartments 3381 and 3382, the "maisonette," with our two sons in Nov 2016. It's a superb, recently renovated modern duplex. Downstairs, the living room had a sofa bed, kitchen, washing machine, and toilet. Upstairs was the bedroom, with a freestanding tub overlooking the canal and an attached bathroom.

The staff were so kind, and the apartment made it easy for the whole family to unwind in Venice. We stayed two nights in apartment 3. It was clean and air-conditioned, with a good shower and a nice kitchen. Really lovely place.

The bed was really comfortable, and the apartment was beautifully furnished in a modern style. We were close to a supermarket selling tasty ready-made Italian food, which was easy to enjoy in the lovely new kitchen. Castello was a perfect base for visiting the Contemporary Art Biennale. Yoses welcomed us warmly, and we appreciated the espresso machine and complimentary coffee capsules. Thanks so much, I'd happily recommend it.

All the main attractions are within walking distance, and the price was excellent for the clean, spacious rooms and high-end European style. I'd definitely stay again.

We had loads of space and the apartment was very clean. Being in a quiet neighborhood while still close to San Marco Square worked perfectly.
