The location was a plus: the beach is only a few meters away, with restaurants and supermarkets close by, and the area is very quiet. The apartment, though, was simple and short on comforts. It seemed to date from the 1960s and hadn’t been renovated, with old, impractical furniture, barely any kitchenware, and no microwave or oven. The living room sofa bed was broken, and the bathroom made an awful noise whenever the toilet was flushed. The pool water was green, so we didn’t use it. The barbecue area was also dirty, with cigarette ends and leftover charcoal. When we arrived, they couldn’t find our reservation and gave us an apartment that had been shut all winter. We had to bring our own sheets, towels, shower soap, shampoo, and even a dish sponge. There wasn’t a mop for cleaning, despite the €50 cleaning charge.

I strongly advise against staying here. For our last two nights in Sardinia, May 25-27, we picked it for the lovely-looking pool and closeness to the airport. Being able to relax by the pool with our children was a priority. Instead, we found it full of dirt and completely green. The woman handling reservations told us by phone, angrily, that the pool was only open seasonally, though that wasn’t stated on the booking form. She also said this was the case across Sardinia, which wasn’t true: since May 12 we’d stayed in places with clean, well-kept pools that were open. The employee who showed us the apartment said there’d been a water problem for a week, so the reservationist was probably lying. After a brief conversation, she said she’d call back, then rang to say, “Please cancel your reservation,” and hung up 🤡. She knew we had a 9-month-old and a 2-year-old with us. I can’t recommend this place.

We called several times before arriving to make sure our reservation was fine, especially since we’d booked alongside my brother-in-law. Each time, they reassured us. Then, shortly before the trip, his booking was canceled because of supposed water damage, which later seemed like a lame excuse. They still told us to come without worrying, but once there, we were told there was no reservation and no room. Booking.com had confirmed it, yet they claimed Booking.com had made a mistake. It seemed they’d overbooked and didn’t care what happened to us. There was no responsibility taken, no help, and no proposed solution. We were simply told to fix it ourselves and left stranded. That’s unacceptable. If you don’t want to risk your holiday, avoid this place. We’d tell everyone to stay away.

The apartments had what we needed and were perfectly adequate, though a microwave would have been useful. We had a nice view and a lovely terrace with a table, and the pool was good too. There was private parking, plus a fridge, oven, washing machine, fans, and coffee maker. Excellent value for the price. Highly recommended.
