Porto Room & Suite took a little getting used to. It’s an apartment building rather than a regular hotel, with no lobby. The owner meets you, lets you in, shows you the room and explains how to get in and out before handing over the keys. There’s no view, and the neighborhood is busy, but the place worked well for what I needed. The room was clean and decent, the bed was fine, there were plenty of outlets, and it stayed quiet at night. The modern shower worked reliably. It’s close to interesting sights and places to eat. A cheap grocery store is just a block away for water, wine, or snacks, and there’s a taxi stand about 30 meters from the entrance. The taxis are metered and felt trustworthy. Getting to the airport was easy, too. I’d recommend Porto Room & Suite for a night or two in Napoli if you need a good night’s sleep between everything the city has to offer.

We come to Naples often and are already looking forward to staying here again. The owner was quick to reply on WhatsApp both while booking and during our stay. He was honest and trustworthy, and helped us get a valuable camera back after we left it behind, all the way to England. The room was spacious and beautiful, spotlessly clean, with a comfy bed, a cute balcony, a smart TV, a huge shower, and a safe. The location was really good, and check-in and check-out were easy.
