It's just 60m from the communal swimming spot, which also has a small pool for little kids. The location in the middle of one of the best villages is great, and the service was great too. Our room was huge (!) and the menu had plenty to offer. If small, simple, family-run places aren't your thing, you should stay elsewhere.

I still have the fondest memories of this place. My parents and I had the whole top floor, with a beautiful view of Lake Lugano. The food in the restaurant was good, and the owners and staff were the sweetest, always glad to help us.

Had lunch at the restaurant today. The mixed salad and tagliatelle with fresh porcini were good and fairly priced, and the service was quick and friendly. Recommended.

The blonde woman serving tables was very kind, but the owner wasn't. We won't be back. The food was really poor. The lasagna was inexcusable, and I guess it caused the slight diarrhea I had after lunch. Maybe some naive northern European tourists would think this is Italian cooking, but the ingredients and the “cook's” skill both seemed pretty poor to me. They also charged 6 euros for three people for two pieces of bread and paper placemats. That was a blunder.
