Domu Noa Hotel

The breakfast was a lovely start to every day, with changing omelette options, seasonal fruit, creamy yogurt and even freshly whipped butter. Our room was roomy and comfortable, with a nice balcony, and the minibar was well stocked at surprisingly fair prices. We saw the same three friendly women working each day, and their warm welcome made us feel at home. We didn’t speak Italian, so we got by with smiles and gestures. The hotel is right in the center, which was hard to beat. The air conditioning was a little difficult to manage and could use an upgrade. There was also a neighbor’s little sausage dog who liked to sing at odd hours with a very distinctive bark. After meeting him, though, we couldn’t stay annoyed. We had a wonderful visit and would recommend Hotel Domu Noa.

Room 7 was spacious, beautifully renovated and especially quiet, with a lovely balcony. We’d read comments about noise in other rooms and were a little unsure at first, but our room was peaceful. Leaving the windows open for too long can let in insects or the occasional lizard in the heat, which seems common in Sardinia. The hotel felt like a cozy family home, cared for with pride. The staff were professional, kind and always smiling. We sometimes struggled to communicate in English, but managed with simple words and gestures. Breakfast had a good selection and the quality was clear. A couple of things could be better: the old AC unit rattled, vibrated and gave off a bright blue light that could bother people who like a dark room. There was no kettle or coffee machine in the room either, and the lobby machines needed staff help and weren’t available around the clock. A kettle in each room would help. We had a lovely stay and would gladly return to Domu Noa, a calm little spot with Sardinian charm.

Everything was so clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the location made it easy to explore town and the nearby beaches. Mille Grazie 🙏🏼

The hotel is in a lovely, scenic part of town, close to plenty of restaurants and shops, and within walking distance of Spaggia di Simius. It was a pleasant area to wander around and get a little lost. I stayed for four days in June and was really impressed. The rooms were clean and lovely, with plenty of space, and the bathrooms were also spacious and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and really tried hard to assist, even speaking English. Breakfast was enough to start the day, with fresh fruit, coffee, cereal and pastries. I’d definitely stay here again. To me, it deserves at least four stars, not three.
