Residence Fenicia

Our son, who’s 9, had a great time here. There was plenty for him to do, and he loved the cats. We’ve visited twice now and will come back again. The garden and pool are lovely, the view is amazing, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are dated. There’s a shuttle to the beach now instead of the old path from the residence, but we didn’t mind in the end. It runs very well, and Simone, the driver, is really nice.

The property feels tucked away and peaceful, though restaurants and bars are still within reach: about an 18-minute walk or a 7-minute drive. The beach is at the end of a path and feels private. It’s an 8-minute walk or just 3 minutes by shuttle. Around the residence, we loved seeing about 10 cats. The staff clearly look after them, and they make the place feel homey. We found the hotel beautifully kept, with clean rooms, a lovely pool and a big terrace where we could relax and take in the view. The staff were welcoming from the start. Rose at the bar was especially friendly and always smiling, and the shuttle driver was kind and helpful. A few little things could be improved: a full-length mirror in the rooms, some fruit fly control, and more street lighting near the hotel at night. Those didn’t take away from a fantastic stay. We’d happily recommend Residence Fenicia for a relaxing break with lovely surroundings and kind people.

The pool deck has an amazing view, and the beach is beautiful, just a fairly short walk or shuttle ride away. Getting to town takes a bit longer, but it’s manageable. The Tuk Tuk taxis were fun and cost €20 each way. The resort felt just the right size, not too big, and the staff were kind, friendly and always helpful. Breakfast and coffee were great, and our comfortable room had air conditioning. It worked out really well for our family getaway.

The garden and surroundings were lovely, and the location made it easy to reach both the beach and Villasimius on foot. Breakfast is well worth having. The staff remembered the coffee I liked once I’d ordered it, and brought me the same kind each day. Our room was clean. I only wished there’d been salt or pepper in the kitchenette.
