The rooms are enormous, almost house-sized, and the place has plenty of history, which makes it even better. The views are beautiful, though there’s a lot of walking depending on where your room is. There are a few very sweet cats too.

Set among Umbria’s lovely hills, this is a wonderful place for a weekend or a full week. The apartments are nicely decorated, spotless, and equipped with everything you need. There are two pools, one for adults and one for kids, plus a nice playground for children. The staff make you feel at home throughout your stay.

I stayed for about a week in early June, and it was just what I was looking for. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, with balconies looking out over the Umbrian landscape. The restaurant is top quality, and it’s worth having a couple of dinners there. I really appreciated that they offer vegan options, since that’s not common in the area. The staff were very friendly too. I’ll definitely return!

We visited in August 2022 and had nice weather, warm but not too hot days and cool evenings. Perugia, Assisi, and Foligno are all a 30-40 minute drive away. The resort is a little remote, with about 30 apartments, but it still feels quiet and relaxed. The views are spectacular, the pools are good with plenty of space, and some apartments now have air conditioning in the bedrooms. Nice! I’d definitely come back. Ask for an apartment with its own terrace so you can sit outside. The restaurant is nice too, with good food and wine, though the menu is a bit complicated and not very big. The one thing we really missed was a small bar at the resort where you could get coffee, a snack, beer, or ice cream.
