We’ve come back to this family hotel for the third year running. The rooms are spacious, clean and well kept, even if the furnishings aren’t modern. The owner cooks the homemade breakfast and dinner himself, and the service is great. The Valtournenche ski area is a 10-minute drive away, and the hotel has a van too.

We were here for a week and really enjoyed the food and the service. There’s free parking right outside, and the hotel runs a free shuttle to the ski station. We’d happily come back.

We found it good value for a stay in Valturnanche in either summer or winter. The family-run place is well organized, the staff are friendly and the rooms are spotless. Breakfast and dinner were both really good, and there was always plenty. There’s parking in the forecourt, plus storage for skis and boots in winter. Highly recommend it.

We stayed here for skiing and hiking around Valtournenche, Breuil-Cervinia and Zermatt, and found it very affordable. The hotel is in the nearby village of Maen, on the outskirts of Valtournenche. It’s quiet, clean and tidy, with very nice owners, good parking and storage for skis and boots. Breakfast was good, and dinner was a well-prepared four-course Italian meal each day. The friendly drivers took us to the Valtournenche ski area at 08.30 or 09.00 and collected us at 16.00 or 16.30 in the hotel minibus. I’d gladly recommend staying here.
