Il Castello B&B

We were there as part of a group, and the place itself is very charming. The fish appetizer was very good, but much of the meal disappointed us. The cold cuts came straight from the fridge and had no flavor, the side dishes arrived bit by bit, and the other dishes had been prepared too far ahead and were served cold. I understand it was very busy, but if they take so many bookings, they need to handle them properly. We still paid quite a lot for everything. I'd give it a try on a quiet day.

The staff were very kind, and the owner went out of the way to help with something we'd forgotten, which is another reason we gave it five stars. We stayed at this B&B while passing through and had a great time. It's a good base for visiting the safari park, and the room was huge, with a lovely hot tub. The B&B is inside a castle, with a restaurant on the ground floor that's handy if you want dinner afterward. Breakfast could be a bit more varied, and a few more tissues would be useful. Best wishes!

We had a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner at Pinin with friends. The atmosphere was elegant, the service was excellent, and the food was sublime. The staff were extremely kind, and the quality and courtesy are always top-notch. The cured meats, cheeses, and fried gnocco appetizer was delicious and complete. Then the champagne risotto with porcini mushrooms arrived, and it was a real feast. As they say, that dish alone was worth the price of admission. Everything was delicious and plentiful. The classics, appetizer, risotto, and dessert, are untouchable. The new fish and meat appetizers are spectacular too, as are the tortellini cacio e pepe with their variations.

After a visit to the Safari Park, we stayed here for a vacation and had a great time. The room was beautiful and spacious, with a huge, comfortable bathroom. Even our 6-year-old daughter loved it. The location was excellent, and the owners were kind, helpful, and friendly. Having the restaurant right next door meant we could stay close and still eat really well. We'd definitely recommend it.
