B&B Al Vicolo del Gallo

The hosts made a real effort with breakfast for my vegan friend and me as a vegetarian, making sure it worked for both of us. Everything was left outside the door each morning. The B&B is right in the centre of lovely Varallo, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. I stayed with a friend last summer and still catch myself wishing I could come back for a weekend. I’d love to return when I have time, mostly to see those wonderful hosts again.

A really relaxing place right in the centre, with a very nice host. The bed was great, and the mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable.

We had a great stay in the apartment with our young son. The owners took care of everything, including a crib and high chair, and even left us a basket of wooden toys. Highly recommended.

I’d been looking all over the Sesia Valley for a room before calling here, and I was lucky to find such a kind, helpful host who offered me a studio. It’s reached through a charming shared courtyard, and the renovation is lovely. Inside there’s a large bathroom with a shower, a very comfortable bed and pillows, a kitchenette, and a little balcony with chairs. The river view is spectacular. Thanks so much for the hospitality. I hope I can come back.
