The room was clean and right in the historic center, though there was no sea view. Still, I can't recommend this property after our check-in experience. The owners didn't show up at the agreed time, and another guest had to let us in. We tried the number listed on Google and the sign at the entrance, but the phone was off. They later said we should have used the different number on Booking, which was absurd. Then, in January, we found the room had no heating and had to contact the property again. I travel a lot as a woman, and this was my first bad experience, especially in Italy.

The rooms were spotless and the bed really comfortable, and breakfast was self-service with croissants baked that morning. It's well placed in Varazze, near both the beach and the center, though parking is lacking. Keep in mind there are two floors to climb, so it won't suit anyone with mobility problems. The host was kind, and I definitely recommend it.

We'd happily stay at La Terrazza again. The host was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast on the lovely terrace was great. Everything was very clean, and the rooms and bathrooms were all new in 2019. It was quiet at night, with air conditioning available if needed. The B&B is right in the old town, super central and only three minutes from the beach. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this small B&B.

It's a shame, because the place has a pleasant atmosphere, good cleanliness, and a lovely terrace for breakfast. But breakfast was very limited, just one croissant per person, with little choice. The owner was kind, while his wife seemed shy and wasn't helpful. I paid for my stay, so she should have carried the heavy suitcase up two flights of stairs instead of leaving it to a guest with back problems and an arm brace. We won't be back.

My daughter and I were very happy here. The owners were helpful and gave us a warm welcome, and the place was clean. Having a fully equipped kitchen was convenient, and we could eat breakfast or pick up our groceries on the terrace. A great fit for anyone who values those things.
