We were there with my wife, our 9-year-old daughter, and friends. The hotel is right at the start of Varazze when you arrive from Milan, and Lungomare Europa is only a few minutes away on foot. The building is old, but the rooms are wide and the staff are very kind. The restaurant is great, so take the menu. You can access the shore directly, and it was absolutely worth the money.

The sound of the waves from the room was lovely, at night and while watching the sunrise in the morning. It's right by the sea, and the food is top-notch too. A charming, simple place with courteous people. Highly recommended!

The sea-facing terrace and direct access to the beach were fantastic. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and the value for money was excellent. It was our first holiday in Liguria, and Hotel Savoy in Varazze made it a wonderful one. We'll definitely return. Best wishes from the Granelli/Celsi family.
