We had a good stay and I'd book again. The staff were very polite, and breakfast was really good, Italian style. The hotel is in central Varazze, about five minutes from the sea. Our so-called superior double was still small. Parking costs an extra 10 euros per night, and you need to leave the keys at reception. Also, remember to ask for the air-conditioning remote. I strongly recommend the hotel, and I'm glad I found it. Keep up the good work!

We left and moved to the much better Hotel Coccodrillo after the owner double-booked our superior room with air conditioning for three nights and tried to put us in a standard room without air conditioning on the third night. The WiFi was so bad I couldn't even use Facebook, and the breakfast bread and cakes were dried out. Parking was chaotic too: they fit 18-20 cars into space for 10. Great if you like Tetris!

The breakfast was fantastic: fresh fruit, cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, tasty croissants, lots of cakes and pastries, and the best focaccia we had in Varazze. The family atmosphere at Hotel Villa Camilla made us feel right at home. It's a family-run hotel just steps from the center, with private parking for €10 a day, which is really handy in Varazze. Our room was small, but that didn't bother us. It was very clean and had a lovely terrace. See you next year, and thanks for everything.
