La Vela hotel

The rooms are roomy and spotless, and the staff were lovely and helpful, especially with the children. We first stayed in September and had such a good time that we came back. They welcomed us warmly again, and we'll be back to visit soon. It's well placed near the station, with the town center and beaches only a few minutes away on foot.

We were here for work and had a really good stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the air conditioning and little balcony were nice to have. Because of COVID, breakfast and dinner were arranged in the room and were very well organized. Sleep was hard with the station so close, though, and there wasn't any parking. The staff let us leave our van on the small street next door, and luckily we had no real trouble there. I'd recommend the place.

The only real issue was how much sound came through the walls from other rooms. Otherwise, the room was pleasant, clean, and kept in good shape, with a comfortable bed and a bathroom of decent size. It's close to the station, beaches, and parking. The electronic keycard opens the room and also lets you in after a certain hour. The receptionist was really friendly.

The owners were very kind, and the place was clean even though it welcomes pets. The staff were pleasant and attentive to what we asked for. But barking dogs and people talking late at night kept us from sleeping until 1 a.m. Without that noise, this would have been a 5-star hotel.
