The restaurant is actually part of the hotel, though I couldn’t locate it on the map. The food was the best I had on the coast, at Michelin level, and the prices were very reasonable, even a little below what you’d find at typical tourist cafés.

The view is lovely and the restaurant is okay, but the rooms were small and dirty and the rest was awful. Air conditioning cost an extra 3 euros, even though it was included in my booking. When I told the owner the WiFi wasn’t working, he was rude. It was fixed two hours later, and nobody let me know.

It was nice to be back. The new owners have kept Puntabella’s good spirit, and the staff are kind and warm. The food was good too. Colgoleto centre is within walking distance, and a taxi costs around 7 euros.
