Agriturismo La Ferrera

Wow, I was impressed.

The food was a real highlight, with handmade delicacies made from local ingredients each evening. Our room was roomy and clean, the beds were comfortable, and every staff member was kind, especially Matteo. My husband, our dog, and I had a wonderful stay at this agriturismo, and we'd recommend it to everyone.

The setting was the first thing that stayed with us. Horses grazing freely, cats sunning themselves on chairs, and two dogs running around the agriturismo made it feel like everything was living alongside nature. We had aperitifs on the terrace with birdsong all around. There was no need for phones or TV with that perfectly imperfect scene in front of us. We'd come looking for peace and quality, and chose to stay three days based on the reviews. Matteo welcomed us right away with a smile and was very helpful, even getting us into our room earlier than expected. We'd mentioned ahead of time that we had two dogs, and he arranged a room that suited us. It was simple but well organized, with the essentials, and clean and spacious. The home-style cooking worked well for my vegan needs. The dishes were simple, made with care and good quality, and their flavors reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. The location was excellent for reaching both nearby lakes. A heartfelt thanks to all the staff.
