The room was spotless, with useful little touches like disposable slippers and feminine wash. We also enjoyed the included breakfast: Renata made coffee, and I especially liked the prosciutto, cheeses, and fresh fruit. It was simple but tasty, and they even gave us a tea bag as a small gift. Bed & Breakfast Il Bolentino is really well placed for getting around Lake Como, about a four-minute walk from Varenna-Esino railway station and three minutes from the Varenna Ferry Terminal. Renata and Antonio made us feel welcome, and Antonio came to meet us at the gate when we arrived. We felt at home and would happily stay again.

I usually don't leave reviews, but this was one of the best B&Bs I've stayed at. The location, breakfast, and kindness were all amazing. We were only there for one night, and before we left she gave us a little gift. Such a kind gesture, and a great experience in Varenna.

Belissimo Casa! We felt comfortable and welcome from the moment we arrived. Renata was a lovely host who made us feel at home, and she served a delicious breakfast. The location is ideal, near both the train station and ferry terminal. We'd absolutely recommend it.

The room was neat and clean, with a spacious bathroom. Breakfast was a very good continental spread with plenty of choice, served on a terrace with a lovely mountain view. The hosts speak limited English, but we managed to communicate everything we needed, and they were both friendly and accommodating, making us feel very welcome. It's in wonderful Varenna, handy for the ferry port or bus station, which currently has a replacement bus service. Definitely recommend.

I had a really comfortable, perfect stay and would gladly come back. It's close to the train station, and a lovely elderly Italian couple run the place. I'd recommend it to everyone I know.
