The apartment was clean, comfortable, and secure, with a great view from the balcony. Selina was so kind and waited for us when we arrived late for check-in, which we really appreciated. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the center of Varenna, but the scenery along the way is magnificent. There’s also a bus if you’d rather not walk, though you need to buy tickets online through the Trenord app. I’d especially recommend it for people without babies.

The views here are really beautiful, but the streets are narrow and there are hardly any sidewalks.
