We had two families, four adults and five little kids, and the three-level place gave us plenty of room and all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. There were board games and card games for the children, plus complimentary milk, eggs, bread, spices, olive oil, and lots of other things that made feeding the kids much easier. Liz was a wonderful host. She answered our WhatsApp questions right away and shared useful information about rental cars, taxi drivers, tour maps, and more. We were very satisfied and would highly recommend it. One bedroom has a low section of ceiling that sticks out, so you need to watch your head when standing up. It didn’t change my rating.

The villa felt spacious and homely for our group of seven adults, and it was very comfortable with great amenities. Liz was a fantastic host and kept in touch really well. The location is amazing.

Liz was so kind and helpful, and we really appreciated her taking care of us. We checked in at night and found food and drinks waiting for us. The villa was very clean, fully equipped, and felt like a home away from home. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d strongly recommend it to families visiting Varenna.

The host was quite rude, and that spoiled what could have been a good trip. I’d really suggest thinking twice before choosing to stay here.

The entry fee is worth paying, even if all you do is take photos.
