Le Rose Di Marianne - Sud

We spent 11 nights in this lovely south-facing apartment, with two great terraces, and had a wonderful stay. The owner was friendly and communication was easy throughout. It’s only a three-minute walk to a shop, and the Brixen Card came in handy: we used it for free entry to the Aquarena swimming pool in Brixen, about a 20-minute walk away, every day except Sundays and public holidays. The indoor and outdoor pools are very nice. Without the card, admission for four would have cost €30. We also took the Plose Gondola for free with the card. The apartment had all the basics and more, including soap, shampoo, towels, clean sheets, spices, dishes, and cutlery. Towels were replaced every three days, the rubbish was taken out after three days, and the sheets were changed after a week. We’d happily recommend it.

The best part for us was how relaxing the weekend felt. The Brixen Card covered three hours at the Acquarena pools in Bressanone, and we had a great time there. The apartment was new, welcoming, practical, and furnished with care. It was spotless, and Karin was so kind and helpful. The neighborhood was quiet, just a short drive from central Bressanone. A really lovely weekend.

The location made getting around easy: the bus stop is close by, buses run often, and the 330 bus from Brixen goes straight to Funes Valley in 34 minutes. The center is 1.6 kilometers away, an easy walk, and there’s a supermarket nearby too. We used our Brixen Guest Pass right after it was issued that morning to ride the free bus from the train station. We stayed three nights in a west-facing suite. We arrived early, and Karin came down to greet us warmly. She speaks Chinese! There are stairs up to the room, which was clean and stylish. I’d never stayed in a guesthouse room with a floor that felt comfortable to walk on barefoot. The kitchen was fully equipped, including a washing machine and microwave. There wasn’t an electric kettle, but a regular one worked for hot water and coffee. Karin had also left us snacks, fruit, bread rolls, walnuts, peanuts, and milk. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We were a family of four in Apartment Sud, just outside Brixen. The old town was no more than a 20-minute walk, and a supermarket with everything we needed was three or four minutes away on foot. The owner replied quickly whenever we had questions, then welcomed us herself and showed us around. It’s a fantastic place for a holiday, and we’d book it again if we return to Brixen.
