Al Molo 5 - Lake Front

The peaceful setting was a welcome change, and we were treated so warmly that we ended up extending our stay. At Al Molo 5, the team was welcoming throughout, with attentive, seamless communication. Our room and the thoughtful amenities exceeded what we'd hoped for. Breakfast on our private balcony, with views that were the most breathtaking we've ever seen, felt magical. Our stay at Lake Como became the highlight of the trip, and we're already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended.

What made Vassena feel like the secret of Lake Como was how quiet, relaxed, and authentic it was, unlike the busy, tourist-filled streets of Bellagio. We found lovely local places without the crowds, which made it just right for a romantic escape. Al Molo 5 itself is a small, intimate property, with every corner carefully designed to feel like a private sanctuary. Greta and Daniela deserve a special mention for outstanding service and for going out of their way to make us feel special. The dinner at the restaurant was refined, and breakfast was wonderful, especially on the balcony. We came hoping for a special getaway, and this became one of the most romantic places we've ever stayed. It has an intimacy and soul that larger hotels can't match. I can't recommend it enough, and we'll be back.

The peaceful little community outside busy Bellagio was exactly what we liked, and the lake and mountain views were spectacular. There's a small market and a bar nearby, plus a church next door. I loved hearing the bells. Boat rentals are on site, and the ferry drops off and picks up right in front of the hotel. We used the hot tub every day after walking, and our room was near it and the gym. The place also offers a complimentary shuttle to and from Bellagio, which saved us taxi and ferry costs since taxis are very expensive here. Continental breakfast came in a basket to our door. Hotel rooms get room service, while apartment guests can request what they need through WhatsApp or at the front desk and have it delivered. The staff were attentive and so helpful with bus routes, train information, maps to nearby cities, and every question we had. They never made us feel like we were asking too much, and we felt like family. I could definitely get used to waking up to that view. I highly recommend this place; you won't be disappointed.

Breakfast on the balcony each morning, looking over the lake, was amazing, and the complimentary minibus to and from Bellagio was really useful. The hotel has a great restaurant too. It's a fantastic little boutique place, with lots of attention to detail. The staff worked hard to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel special. I'd highly recommend it! 🤩
