By the end of the set menu, you’ll be very full and may have to leave some food behind. It includes a generous appetizer, a first course, two second courses, then fruit, dessert, coffee, and a digestif. The food was tasty and authentic, made simply with excellent local ingredients. The staff were friendly and service was quick. At €30 for the full menu, excluding wine, the value is more than fair. Recommended for gourmets.

Christmas Day here was a bad experience. The food was poor and cold, and the place was freezing, with icy drafts. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired, especially the huge cobwebs around the pellet stove pipe. The stove went out as well, and it stayed even colder for quite a while. I really don’t recommend it, especially for the holidays.

The service and quality both need improvement. In this rustic dining room with straw chairs, whoever is in charge should check the chairs carefully and make sure they’re in good shape. A pair of worn trousers that were part of a suit got completely ruined across the back.!!!!

We make a point of stopping for dinner whenever we’re around Vasto. The house menu is my favorite, with loads of delicious appetizers and excellent first and second courses. It’s great value, the service is very friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely, especially outdoors in summer.
