Waking up to that view was such a treat, and breakfast was included and really good. We visited at the end of the season, so the staff had plenty of time for us. The chef even spent an evening with us in the kitchen, showing us how to make traditional Italian dishes. When my friend got sick on our last day, they offered some medicine they had on hand and helped put together a tray to take to him. They also shared lots of useful ideas for things to do nearby. One of my best hotel stays.

Dinner was the best part. The chef explained the options in detail, then came out to ask everyone what they wanted. He was charming, and the food was great. It was a really good three-course meal. A lot of the staff didn't speak English, though we managed to communicate somehow. The beds weren't the best, but I guess the price was fair for what we got.

That tiramisu he makes is gorgeous, so light and delicious! Danielle was exceptional, too. He treated me better than I could have hoped for. After seeing I didn't have the equipment to cycle around with even basic safety, he provided everything without hesitation. He also gave me tips about the area. Loved it!

We stayed for four days, and Daniel helped us plan our day trips. We'll never forget the hotel or his help. The service was superb and the staff were friendly, and the area was one of the most beautiful in Italy. Sorry, Daniel, for only writing this review now.
