Oberhemberger Hof

A great location and a friendly atmosphere.

Our hosts were incredibly friendly and easy to reach whenever we needed anything, and parking was available right in front of the house. The place felt comfortable, with modern, clean and quiet rooms, and a beautiful view from its somewhat secluded spot. By car, everything was easy to get to: Three Peaks was a 1.5-hour drive, Geisler Alm 30 minutes, and Seceda 45 minutes. The amenities were adequate, though we'd bring our own dish soap, sponge, oil and spices next time. We stayed four nights and would definitely return. Highly recommend it.

The Gamper family were so kind and ready to help whenever we needed them. Our small apartment easily slept four and had an entrance hall, a living room with kitchen and sofa bed, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a balcony. As shown in other photos, there was no bidet in the bathroom. We stayed the first week of August 2024 in the recently renovated all-wood building. From the balcony we could take in a breathtaking view of the Dolomites, especially the Odle range. The property sits just outside Velturno, only a few minutes' walk from the village, and it's well placed for reaching towns in Val Gardena and nearby areas in around half an hour or less. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

The apartment was spacious, nicely equipped and very clean, and we really enjoyed the excellent breakfast we ordered. We stayed a few days recently and loved the view across the eastern Eisack Valley near Klausen toward the Villnöser Geisler peaks. The people were friendly and kind, and we had some lovely conversations. We'd highly recommend staying here.
