Il Cenerino

I chose Il Cenerino in Venaria Reale for the second time, and it felt like coming back to a little family corner. The welcome is warm, it's quiet, and parking has never been an issue. My room had what I needed, including air conditioning, a TV, and a private bathroom, and there are no stairs to climb. Everything is simple and makes me feel at home. From booking and arrival through the stay and departure, things are always impeccable. Thank you so much, Luca, for the wonderful hospitality. Venaria Reale is a regal, peaceful place to retreat after a busy day, with the splendid Royal Palace and its magnificent gardens nearby. Turin is only a 12 minute drive away, so it's easy to get back to the heart of the city. I travel with two dogs, and the wide country roads around here are lovely for a leisurely walk. When the weather is good, I can see the lightly snow-capped mountains on the horizon. It's an image that stays with me. Turin itself has an elegance that never feels showy or snobbish. There isn't impatient honking or chaos, and the rectangular grid of streets makes it easy to find your way around. It's a city full of sights, and the impressions come quickly, which can be exciting but intense. Eventually I want to slow down, breathe, and find somewhere quiet. Piedmont is nearly as large as Switzerland, about 60%, and has a surprising mix of landscapes. There are majestic mountains, rolling hills, sparkling lakes, and even the sea, all surprisingly close to Turin. That balance of nature and culture is what makes the region so fascinating and complete.

We came to Venaria to see family and needed somewhere nearby that would take our dog. Teresa and Luca gave us such a warm welcome that we felt at home right away. The two rooms were downstairs and linked by a lovely kitchen. The courtyard and garden were perfect for our dog Stella, who absolutely loved them, and the whole property is fenced in. The rooms were cozy and beautiful, very clean, with a wonderful style, and the bathrooms were great and quite new. We'd happily recommend staying here and will definitely return. We had a lovely stay in this B&B. The hosts are warm and helpful, and the location is convenient for both the historic center and the bus stop. There's a large courtyard where you can safely park a car, and the kitchen is well equipped. Highly recommended.

Teresa is such a kind, warm person, and we felt right at home. The B&B is charming and tucked away in a quiet part of Venaria, with antique-style rooms that are well looked after. There's a private bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning, plus a little breakfast room with a fridge and table. Outside, the garden is lovely and well maintained, and even our furry friend enjoyed it. There's a nice parking area too. We'll be back.
