The room was warm, clean, and spacious, with a comfortable bed and simple furnishings arranged in a practical way. Security devices on the windows helped it feel safe. The bathroom was also roomy, clean, and pleasant. The shower was a standard European size, but the water pressure was good and it was easy to adjust the temperature. Getting around was really convenient. The accommodation is about a five-minute walk from the train station and FlixBus stop. From Mestre Station, buses 7 and 7E drop you about a minute away, and the back street gives easy access to the train. Interspar, a large, clean, affordable two-story supermarket, is only 3 to 5 minutes away. We ate well at every meal. My mom enjoyed looking around the supermarket even more than sightseeing in Venice, especially because the dairy and meat selection was wide and inexpensive. There's a shared kitchen outside the room, and everyone we met using it was friendly and cleaned up after themselves. If you see the elderly gentleman who checked us in in the morning, he may brew you a delicious coffee. Grandpa, yours was really good. Buono👍 We received very warm, affectionate hospitality from an Italian grandfather. He speaks Italian, so there were moments when he spoke Italian and I replied in English. Check-in still went smoothly because I had my passport and reservation confirmation ready, and I paid the city tax in euros and cents using the coins I had. I had planned to share meat, arugula, salad, cheese, tomatoes, oranges, tangerines, and apples from Interspar with him in the evening, but he wasn't there then. I did see him in the morning. He was a truly kind-hearted Italian grandfather. It might be a little difficult for MBTI I types, but I still had a good time. The actual owner seems to be someone other than the grandfather, and they're easy to reach through booking.com. In Italy, many places are private homes run like guesthouses, so finding the accommodation can be tricky. The owner will give you a phone number. If it starts with +39 1~, you can call 0039 1~. It may also help to install WhatsApp, which is widely used in Europe like KakaoTalk in Korea and makes it easy for the accommodation and guests to communicate.

The elderly owner was very kind. I arrived at 8 am, and he made me coffee and carefully explained how to use the facilities. The place was spacious and clean, and good value for money. It's near the city center, train, and bus stops, and I highly recommend the nearby Interspar supermarket.

Terrible experience. If you don't want to be left without a place to stay on arrival day, don't book this B&B. Booking.com contacted us that morning to say our reservation had been cancelled, even though we'd paid in advance. When there's an overbooking, the hotel is supposed to arrange another stay and cover extra costs, but nothing was offered. The hotel simply cancelled, so we called other places nearby and went straight to one, paying for another room ourselves. Finding anything available that same day was very difficult, especially on a weekend. This was completely unprofessional. I don't recommend it, stay away.
