The quiet was lovely during our four days here, and the place is a good choice for a nice stay, though the furniture could be better. The room was much bigger than I expected, and the area is pretty quiet. Free street parking nearby was a plus for us, and there’s a frequent bus close by to the old town island of Venice. The price and everything else ranged from okay to excellent. The cigarette smell in the room, though, bothered me throughout my stay. Opening the windows and turning on the AC barely helped. It seemed to have sunk into the walls. It wasn’t very strong, but enough to annoy me the whole time. My girlfriend noticed it less, so maybe I’m just very sensitive to smoke. We may have been unlucky with whoever stayed before us, but for me it was a major downside.

We got to central Venice in about 20 minutes by bus, and the staff were kind and available. The price felt fair, though the breakfast was really basic. In the room, there was too much light at night, and the pillows weren’t very comfortable. The bathroom could have had a few more things in it. Still, it’s a really good hotel overall, and I recommend it.

We had a terrible experience here recently. Our rooms weren’t ready until two hours after check-in, and the staff were rude and indifferent instead of apologizing. They had a lot of attitude, and the rooms seemed shady to us. The prices also felt very high for the service. Please don’t book this hotel.
